While AOD offers some very competitive rates and the best non-category spend credit card in my opinion, they require a $500 deductible on full coverage for car loans. It can be reviewed and an exception can be made to allow for up to a $1000 deductible, but that’s the maximum they will review/accept. So if you plan to have a deductible in excess of $1000, AOD is not your option. They do not require GAP at least, but I’m sure there are plenty who do. Marks them off of my list, unfortunately. 1.56% was tempting. But, that would cause a massive insurance premium increase which would eviscerate any savings from the lower rate, unfortunately. ☹️😔

Thanks for the heads up. Have you checked DCU? They have excellent rates too and I haven't ever heard anyone complain about this.

No I have not actually, maybe I should. The friend in question obtained manufacturer low financing.
